Went to fetch my 2nd bro at changi naval base ytd. He’s coming back from ns training in Taiwan. When me and my big bro saw a group of people coming out, immediately recognized my 2nd bro from afar. I recognized the way he walked. It was so comical. It was an exaggerated tired walking. I told my big bro : confirm that one is him. See, walk until like that. Nobody would walk like that. It’s either him or I just insulted a random stranger. Haha! Actually I’m not that confident that it’s him, but I just have that feeling it would be him. And it really is! When we saw him carrying all his stuff walking towards us. He brought a lot of stuff back, like food, chocolates and souvenirs! And the kind of chocs he bought was damn unique. I found it very interesting! decided not to show the pic because some ppl might not be able to take it Haha he also bought me this Winnie the pooh that can play and dance and also a Patrick mallet when you hit it will have the boing~ sound. So cute!
He told us that most of the stuff he bought is at bargained price. Then my mum was like wah my son has learnt the way of his mother. Hahaha! Yeah my big bro drove us there but my 2nd bro drove us back. He just got his drivers license and wanted to try to drive. At first I wasn’t so confident because I didn’t want to die(kidding!) but I just don’t want anything to happen to them. But anyways, with the guidance of my mum and my big bro, he drove us back. And on the car, I was sitting behind. From behind, when I looked at my 2nd bro in the driver’s seat, driving, I told my mum: you see. Your son grow up already hor. Can drive le. I felt a bit like how a mother would when her child has grown up and starts to do stuff that adults would do. I think it’s because the age difference between my 2nd bro and I is smaller than with my big bro, so it’s like we grow up together and do everything together since young, and now he knows how to drive le, makes me feel like this is a new stage in his life, he is slowing becoming an adult. He is growing up. Because I’m used to feeling like we are still kids. I remember the times when none of us knew how to drive, now, the 2 of them knows how to drive, except me. but that means they can drive me around! Haha. Yeah, i felt the same way when my big bro first started driving, but when I saw my 2nd bro driving, it felt more weird because for my big bro, because he’s the eldest, so naturally, he’s more responsible and the adult figure among us 3, so it’s not that weird. But for my 2nd bro, I still view him as a kid and have the feeling that we are still kids. I feel that it’s a bigger step for him. Oh well, we all have to grow up. But I know we will forever act like kids, be childish and have fun together. :D dancing pooh! :)
